I started in the industry to help people. Over the years I have been able to select the area of focus that I feel is not only best for my clients but also what motivates me to do the best job for my clients. My focus is trying to help people reach retirement and at that point, help them maintain a lifestyle that is comfortable for them to live during their retirement years and also give them the opportunity to pass on wealth to their heirs.
I began my career in 2001 with Pruco Securities Corporation (Prudential). Working in a corporation atmosphere for a couple months I constantly found myself asking am I offering my clients the best products available in the industry. This really stuck with me and I began to really research and evaluate the industry. It finally became clear to me that if I wanted to service my clients to the best of my ability I needed to become associated with an Independent Broker-Dealer. This would allow me to find the best products and companies that would help the initial process in reaching my client's goals. So, in 2002 a became appointed with Tower Square Securities, Inc. at that time a Citi Group company and now MetLife Company. This was a great starting point for me and for eight years I got the opportunity to work close with four individual's that had over 100 years experience in the industry.
In 2010 with many changes a curing in the industry I decided to leave Tower Square Securities and move my book of business to Royal Alliance, Inc. an AIG company. Though, Royal Alliance was a good company and completely fulfilled my client's objectives. Looking back I feel a lot of this transition was me trying to see if the grass was greener on the other side. As my business was continuing to grow I found myself needing more and more support that I was not receiving at Royal.
Around this time I ran into an old friend/colleague that I worked with at Tower Square. After a few meetings and me expressing my concerns he soon had me convinced that National Planning Corporation could help me in elevating my concerns. Starting the process with National Planning Corporation I was introduced to the CVO of Gateway Financial Partners and knew right away the support was exactly what I was looking for not only me but my clients. In late 2016 a became appointed with National Planning Corporation and began working with Gateway Financial Partners.
